From mogulist Alexandre Bilodeau making history by being the first Canadian to win a gold on home soil to Sidney Crosby shooting the winning goal in overtime and winning Canada’s final gold medal. From proud Canadians singing the national anthem on the streets of downtown Vancouver to the bars in Toronto, these past 17 days has brought a whole nation together. The Canadian athletes ended their successful Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics with a record breaking 14 golds which is the most golds ever won by a hosting country. Canada came in third place with a total of 26 medals. Not only have we broken records and made history but these Vancouver 2010 Olympics will never be forget by any Canadian.
