Chedo from The Come Up Show sits down with hip-hops go-to producer of the year Boi-1da and talks about his rise to fame, producing for Eminem and beginner artists and then some.

“I grew up listening to timeless Christmas songs from artists like Donny Hathaway and The Temptations. And I will never forget how those songs make me feel during this time of year. I wanted to create a similar vibe with Xmas Time,” said DJ Jazzy Jeff. “It is a soulful Christmas song.”

While Christmas is coming fast around the corner, legendary producer DJ Jazzy Jeff and Toronto’s soulstress singer Ayah take a break from their album to give us a soulful Christmas tune. So gather your loved ones around the tree during the cold weather and let this track warm you up.

Though we did not have a GOOD Friday track from Yeezy last week (maybe cause his album dropped Monday), this track is supposedly gonna be on their collaborative album Watch The Throne. The track is co produced by Q-Tip and features Elly Jackson.

HT: That’s My Bitch – Jay-Z & Kanye West

This time at Lissa Monét’s website I review the most anticipated album of this year, Kanye’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. This is Yeezy’s best work to date. The production is solid and he really gives the buyer there moneys worth (from packaging to duration of the tracks). I also review Nicki Minaj’s debut album Pink Friday. Her album is a good start for her fans to get to know her better. Lets hope her sophomore album has better production.
