On January 30th, GOOD Music’s own Big Sean performed for the first time in Toronto and Chedo from The Come Up Show managed to go one on one with Big Sean. In this interview that talk about Kanye West, his signature sound, a new mixtape, his debut album and then some.

New week, new Monster Monday track from Swizzy! This time Swizz Beatz brings along Snoop and JR Reid on the smooth produced track. I guess its one of those calm Mondays today.

Here is Wiz Khalifa’s newest video for his second single Roll Up from his anticipated album Rolling Papers which will drop March 29th. The video also features Cassie. This single is defiantly a chart topper, nothing else. Hopefully his album will be like Kush & Orange Juice cause if so then imma buy it! HA!

Last night, the Grammy Award winner Adele performed her smash single Rolling In The Deep live on Jimmy Kimmel. Her sophomore album 21 is in stores now. Check out the album review I did for 21 on DJ Lissa Monet.

It is almost here people; this is just the sample cover for Calgary’s own Jenna Andrews debut album The Moon And The Stars, but I like it! The album is set to drop this spring and will tell the story about her journey as an artist. If you wanna learn more about Jenna Andrews check out the exclusive interview. Can’t wait to hear what Jenna Andrews has been cooking!

Timbaland comes through again this week with a brand new track for Timbaland Thursdays, even though its late. For this week’s Timbo Thursday he brings along two artists that I have never heard of. J’Royal is from Memphis and JimmyCodean reigns from Norfolk and these 3 spit over some of dark timbo sounds.

After years and years of speculation, the legendary Dr. Dre returns with a brand new video for his single which will be off of Detox. It is a 7.30 minute video, but it showcases his years in the hip-hop game and why we need the doctor back. Hopefully Detox will be worth the wait.

Its our dude Devo Brown giving us this week’s Raptor Rant. Brown talks about the 2011 NBA All-Star Weekend, how TSN cut the game off so we couldn’t hear who the MVP was, all the NBA trades going on especially about the Knicks, and he gives his input on how the Raptors will do this week.

With a newly designed DJ Lissa Monét website for the new year, I come back with a brand new album review for all ya! For my first review of 2011, I review the Grammy Award winner UK singer, Adele’s sophomore album 21. 21 came out on January 21st on the other side of the world and the album toped the charts in 9 countries and went 2x platinum in the UK. Adele will also be performing live at the Kool Haus in Toronto on May 18th, 2011.
