You know, I wasn’t a really big fan of Big Sean. Sure he released some great Finally Famous mixtapes and an alright debut album but it wasn’t until Detroit when I really paid attention. He also killed his features on Mercy and Clique. So far I’m really loving Hall Of Fame! My favourite tracks are First Chain, Fire, Sierra Leone, You Don’t Know, and 10 2 10. 10 2 10 is just insane! Produced by Travi$ Scott, it’s so damn loud and full of energy!

pusha t my name is my name

It’s about damn time that Pusha T puts out his long talked about solo album My Name Is My Name. Kanye dropped two covers of the album on Twitter and Pusha released a new single. Sweet Serenade is produced by Swizz Beatz and sounds like a great radio single. The album is supposed to drop on October 8th but with all the push backs who’s to say that it will stick.

VIDEO OF THE YEAR! That chain on JAY Z’s neck is GOD LIKE!

Well, this track was really disappointing. I was expecting something amazing like ‘Crew Love’ or ‘The Zone’ type of feel but listening to ‘Live For’ feels blah. From the three singles that The Weeknd has dropped I only enjoyed ‘Kiss Land.’ I really hope this album doesn’t fall short.

Maybach Music Group is about to release their third compilation album, Self Made 3 in September and Rick Ross has dropped a few bangers already. I haven’t heard much from Omarion since he dropped his Care Package mixtape and the buzz single, Paradise. He killed it on Self Made vol. 2 with the standout record ‘M.I.A.’ and after listening to ‘Know You Better’ I hope Ross lets him drop that comeback album.

Oooooo I love this collaboration! They both have amazing vocals but once I saw Miguel on this record… DONE! Can’t wait to hear how Monae’s The Electric Lady will sound like.

Fresh off his forth OVO Festival, Drake releases his new single from his upcoming album ‘Nothing Was The Same’. Nothing was the same last night in Toronto because Drake brought out Kanye West, Lil Wayne, J Cole, A$AP Rocky, 2 Chainz, Miguel, Diddy, Ma$e, French Montana, Big Sean, TLC, and The Weeknd. Toronto is now the hub of the greatest hip-hop concerts ever thanks to Drake.

You know that feeling you get when you stare at a painting at it feels like it’s coming alive? Well, JAY Z is the painting and everyone around is experiencing his presence! This has never been done before and for JAY trying to tie hip-hop and art together is amazing. Oh what a feeling!

I touched down in ’86 and so did Drake! Besides Started From The Bottom we haven’t heard anything new from Drake’s new album Nothing Was The Same… until now! ‘All Me’ has Drake, Big Sean and 2 Chainz talking about how they came up all by themselves. Talk about eeeeeego hahaha!
