Watching this video just makes me want to get out of Canada right NOW and go have fun on the beach in Thailand! Someone at his label needs to tell Duke Dumont to have his album ready for the summer!

You don’t even know how long I’ve been waiting for the follow up album to In My Mind. Being a fan who was with The Neptunes sound from day 1, you get to hear and see how much Pharrell has evolved. Sure In My Mind wasn’t a success but that’s because the timing was wrong. Right now is the perfect move for Pharrell to drop G I R L because people can’t get enough of him! Really excited to hear this masterpiece on March 3.

Heard this on B.Traits BBC Radio 1 show last night and it’s been stuck in my head ever since! This is like the perfect house track that I’ve this year so far (and the best single in 2014 so far). The vocals and the beat is matched and arranged together flawlessly. This is definitely a Heroin Track!

Great video, great record! Born in Calgary, Alberta, this Canadian is currently living out her dreams in New York City. Kiesza released this amazing feel good record “Hideaway” and it’s playing everywhere around the world! The video is just as good as the record. Kiesza walks and dances around Brooklyn having people join in. Keep a close eye on Kiesza cause she’s gonna be making hiiiiiits!

Many people around the world know Pharrell because of Blurred Lines and Get Lucky, but last night at the 2014 NBA All Star game he gave a little history lesson to all his new fans. Pharrell opened up the All Star game by performing Frontin’, Hot In Herre, I Just Wanna Love U, Pass The Courvoisier, Grindin’, Beautiful, Rock Star, Drop It Like Its Hot and more.

partynextdoor-persian-rugs-2014

The kid from Mississauga returns in 2014 with a new track. PARTYNEXTDOOR was introduced to the music scene last year with Drake’s name and OVO label on his back but it’s a new year now and it’s time for him to get more momentum. Last year his free album was on my top 5 list of 2013 in music so I can’t wait for some new shit!

the-weeknd-drunk-in-love-beyonce

The Weeknd turned 24 and as a gift he gives us new material. Well, technically not new but a rework of Beyonce’s hit single “Drunk In Love”. If you loved the original then you will really love what The Weeknd has added! Can’t wait to hear what else he has up to this year.

theophilus-london-lovers-holiday

Theophilus London returns in the new year with some music for the lovers out there. Lovers Holiday II is an ok EP, I was expecting something like Rose Island vol. 1 or I Want You type of music. London is putting out his second studio album VIBES! sometime in August.

Thank you Damon Dash, JAY Z, Q-Tip, No I.D., Kyambo “Hip Hop” Joshua, Talib Kweli, Roc-A-Fella Records, HHS78, and everyone else who was involved and believed in a college dropout. College Dropout is all about making your own life choices and having nobody in your way saying “no” while going after your dreams.

Rick-Ross-Jeezy-WarReady

Rick Ross and Young Jeezy squash the beef once and for all. It’s about time because these two can make crazy hits together. I can’t wait for Mastermind to come out already and kickoff 2014 in hip-hop!
